Frederick W. Kirsch, 95, died Tuesday, February 28, 2023.

He was born March 7, 1927 in Erie, PA and served our country in the U.S. Army during WWII.  Fred retired from General Electric and was a graduate of Bellarmine University.  He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, and served as past president of Fern Creek Lion's Club, Fern Creek Sportsman Club and the League of KY Sportsmen.

Fred was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Margie and is survived by children, Kathy Gibson (Gary), Lesa Kirsch, Fred Kirsch, Jr. and Kelly Naehr (Bob); three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and sister, Donna Smith.

Funeral mass is 9:30am Saturday, March 4, 2023 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 7500 Tangelo Drive with burial in Calvary Cemetery.  Visitation is 2-7pm Friday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.
