Frank Christian Leidermann, III, 74, died Friday, June 6, 2025.

He was born July 31, 1950 in Louisville, Kentucky, son of Frank , Jr. and Helen Crilly Leidermann.

Frank graduated from St. Elizabeth Elementary School and St. Xavier High School and earned Bachelor and Master degrees from the University of Louisville.

He was a one of a kind soul; brilliant, unconventional, and unforgettable. He was a fierce believer in justice and  progress.  He devoted much of his life to Democratic politics always standing up for what he believed in with unmatched, passion, and wit.
He served many campaigns in the role of advisor and strategist, with a unique ability to target the votes needed to succeed in elections.

Elected officials who worked with him over the years, remember him fondly as a true believer, who translated his commitment to uplifting others into action. Frank was an asset to both  state and local government  having served many years in the State treasurers office, in multiple mayoral administrations, the PVA office and in both chambers of the Kentucky General Assembly.
We're not always fortunate in our lives to meet a true character and Frank C Leidermann III was truly a delightful one and he will be missed by many.

Visitation is 11am-2pm Friday, June 13, 2025 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky with private burial in St. Michael Cemetery.
