Eve Tungate, 75, died Friday, April 25, 2025.

She was born Alma Yvonne Schlenker on June 11, 1949.  Eve was a retired nurse; she served 22 years at Frazier Rehab then retired from Christopher East Nursing Home in 2015. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. Eve was an avid crafter and enjoyed reading.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Tungate; daughter, Carrie Hyatt (John Jones); and grandchildren, Chloe, Carter, Jacob Hyatt, Brooklynn Northern, Madilynn Hyatt, and Colt, Kinsley and Maverick Jones. She loved all of her grandchildren very much.

Visitation is 12-7pm EST (11am-6pm CST) Wednesday April 30, 2025 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY.

Graveside service is 2:30pm EST (1:30pm CST) Thursday May 1, 2025 at Walnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 101 Walnut Grove Lane, Irvington, KY.
