Eric Lee Smith, 39, lost his fight with cancer on March 2, 2022 at University Hospital.

Eric was very involved with both the local and national music scene. He was involved with various volunteer fire departments since he was 16 years old and was an Air Force veteran.

Eric is survived by his wife, Dawn Smith; children, Hitomi Daos Smith and Skylar Daos Smit; step son, J J; and parents, Greg and Jamie Smith.

His memorial service is 7pm Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with private inurnment.  Visitation with his family is after 2pm Wednesday until the time of the service.
