Elizabeth Ann Carlisle, age 77, passed peacefully on Friday, April 26, 2024.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, beauty, and strength. No matter what the day brought she approached it with grace, vitality, and a spicy spirit. Her limitless heart held a deep love for her family and friends who all meant the world to her. Especially for her devoted husband of almost 60 years with whom she shared true love and a beautiful daughter who was her greatest source of pride.

Elizabeth brought brightness to this world with her laughter and smile. Her strength was a model for the women around her. She used that strength to break barriers by becoming the first female branch manager of a bank in the state of Kentucky, supporting the girls of Maryhurst, and garnering respect in every room she entered. She also used that strength to fight a battle against the pain of illness and still live a life full of joy. Despite her battles, Liz continued to give fully to those around her, enriching their lives beyond measure.

The stars in heaven are brighter because she is there looking down on those she loved.
