Elbirda Haley, 92, died Wednesday, June 12, 2024.

She was born Elbirda Joyce Embry on April 19, 1932, daughter of Nathan and Dona Duke Embry.

Elbirda was a Christian and a retired letter carrier for the United States Postal Service.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbadn, Charles Haley; and children, Glenn Haley, Michael Haley and Beatrice Stigall.

Survivors include Regene Bennett, Todd Haley, Missy Tarter and Michael Newton; 8 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

Graveside service is 2pm Monday, June 17, 2024 at Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Road.  Those attending should meet inside the front gate of the cemetery.
