Bethel Edward Parrott was called home on Monday, May 24, 2021.

He was born July 19, 1940, son of Floyd and Maddie Shake Parrott.

Ed was a mechanic, loved NASCAR and horseracing and in later years he enjoyed working the flea market.  He was member of the old South Watterson Trail Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his siblings, Elsie Aubrey, Clara Darnell, and Donald, Rick and David Parrott.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen Parrott; children, Mike Parrott (Julie), John Parrott (Greg Stamatelos), Richard Parrott (Ruthie) and Janice Kanter (Matt); stepchildren, Dianna Thompson (Charlie) and Angela Seebold; 6 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; his beloved cat, Survivor; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

His funeral is 1pm Friday, May 28, 2021 at Fern Creek Funeral home, 5406 Bardstown Road with urial in Resthaven Memorial Park.  Visitation is after 9am Friday until the time of the service.
