Doug "Trip" Triplett, 67, of Taylorsville, Kentucky died Saturday, July 27, 2024.

He was born Douglas Anthony Triplett on December 27, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky, son of Harvey and Marion Bell Triplett.

Trip was a graduate of Southern High School and Eastern Kentucky University.  He retired from a successful career in restaurant management and then became a bourbon educator for the Heaven Hill Bourbon Experience in Bardstown, Kentucky.  He formerly played on the Louisville Rugby Team.  In his free time, Trip enjoyed boating.

Survivors include his very beloved wife, Sheila Kirsch Triplett; brother, Daniel Triplett (Kathy); mother-in-law, Margie R. Carter; and fur babies, Mika and Remington.

Visitation is 3-7pm Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.
