Doris "Dot" Owen, 87, died Friday, November 25, 2022.

She was the former Doris Lee Harrison, born December 11, 1934, daughter of Newman Blanton and Gertrude Evelyn Hunchman Harrison.  Doris was a member of American Legion Post #220.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe Owen; sons, Doug and Jim Owen; and grandchildren, Allen and Carey Anne Owen.

She is survived by children, Terry Hayes, Sandra DeMasters (Tony) and John N. Owen; grandchildren, Charity Coleman (Steven), John Owen (Kelly), Holly Blair (Darrell), Nick Owen, Mitch Owen, Doug Hayes (Alicia), Autumn Owen, Dana Midkiff (Travis), Tiffany Roach (Josh) and Jaimie Young (Andy); great grandchildren, Kadence, Alston, Jimmy, Jayden, Abigail, Kyla, Paisley, Paul, Alaina, Gabe, Brandon, Devin, Tyler, Eden, and Eli; and her companion, a pet dog named Rocky.

Funeral service is 6pm Friday, December 2, 2022 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.  Visitation is after 12pm until the time of the funeral.
