Dorothy Boston, 89, died Friday, May 31, 2024.

She was born April 28, 1935 in Murfreesboro, TN, daughter of John Oliver and Elizabeth Martin Simpson.

Dorothy was a retired research technician for JCPS and a member of Fern Creek Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Clide Boston, Jr. and is survived by daughters, Theresa Fagan and Jeannie Carpenter(Joe); grandchildren, Clint Fagan (Paige), Kyle Fagan, Megan Carpenter-Harris (Brandon) and Miranda Chandler (Mason); and great grandchildren, Addison Fagan, Hudson Fagan, Sawyer Harris, Lawson Harris, and Mia Chandler.

Her funeral is 1pm Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with private burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.  Visitation is after 11am Wednesday until the time of the service.
