Donna Jean Miller, 83, died Palm Sunday, April 13, 2025.

She was born December 8, 1941 in Scottsburg, Indiana, daughter of Samuel and Lottie Miller Walling.

Donna was a teacher and helped many prepare for real estate licensing.  She served as an instructor for nearly 50 years at the A-Pass-Weikel Institute and most recently at the Home Services Real Estate Academy.

In her younger years, Donna enjoyed trips to the beach, working with the landscaping around her home, and crocheting, but anyone who knew her would confess that her favorite pastime was shopping.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis "Bobby" Miller, brothers, Ronald and Samuel, and sister, Pamela Kruse.

She is survived by sons, David Miller (Becky) and Jim Miller (Lory); grandchildren, Amanda Irby (John) and Jordan Miller; great grandchildren, Luke and Cole Irby; and sister, Lynda McIlvoy (Ed).

A memorial service honoring Donna will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2025 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky.  Visitation is after 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.  Inurnment is private.
