Donna Cissell, 72, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024.

She was born Donna Ruth Moyers on June 5, 1951, daughter of John Ed and Pauline Sharp Moyers.

Donna had many interests and enjoyed a variety of activities.  She was a retired letter carrier for the United States Postal Service and served as the State Secretary of the Rural Letter Carriers Association for many years.  She was a graduate of Fern Creek High School and a member of Beargrass Christian Church.

Donna is survived by her husband, Noel David Cissell; children, John Cissell (Julie), Mike Cissell (Emily), and Joe Cissell (Lauren); grandchildren, Caleb Cissell, Lauren Coffey, Zachary Cissell, Annie Cissell, Zachary Coffey, Lexi Cissell, McKenzie Cissell, Chloe Cissell, Logan Cissell, Jack Cissell, Zoey Cissell, Harper Cissell, and Jackson Cissell; and sister, Mary Broyles (Tony).

Visitation is 3-7pm Monday, January 8, 2024 and her funeral is 1pm Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.
