Donald E. Poppe, 76, died, June 29, 2024.

He was born November 16, 1947 in Louisville, KY, son of Leroy W., Sr. and Marcelle Morrison Poppe.

Donald was a graduate of Bellarmine College with a BA in psychology.  He taught school in Puerto Rico, Korea and Japan.  His career evolved to the nursing profession where he was a clinical educator in oncology.  He also held positions of Adult Psychiatric Unit Manager, Director of Education and Director of Nursing.  He had two master's degrees, one in Theology and one in Psychology/Counseling and a PhD in Bio-Ethics.

Donald is survived by his brother and sister-in-law,, Lee and Medeline Poppe.
