Donald Ray Newman, 67, was born May 4, 1956 and passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rodney  and Gloria  Newman; brother, Ted W. Newman; niece, Michelle Newman; and brother-in-law, Chris Delegato and is survived by his sisters, Charlene Newman Delegato of Florida, Norma Jean Fentress (Dobie) of Hardinsburg, Kentucky and Jennifer Whitaker of Louisville, Kentucky; a special care giver, LaTima Moore; and several nieces and nephews.

Donnie had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles, fishing, wrestling and "Lalo's" (PB&J sandwiches). He loved attending bike week in Daytona Beach, Florida and riding on back of his Dad's motorcycle to get donuts and coffee in the mornings.  He was a loving brother and a great uncle.  He loved his cousins and spending time with family.

His memorial service is 4pm Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with private inurnment in Zachary Taylor National Cemetery. Memorial visitation is after 2pm until the time of the service.
