Donald Ray Greenwell, 76, died Sunday, July 16, 2023.

He was born November 17, 1946, son of James Lamar and Mattie Nell Akers.

Donald was a truck driver and member of Teamster Local #89.  He was a Marine veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of Marine Corps League #729.

Survivors include his wife, Jane Greenwell; children, Angela D. Greenwell and James A. Greenwell (Angela M.); stepsons, Mark Stump (Renee), Brian Stump (Amy) and Craig Stump (Anita); eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and siblings, Mike, Bobby, Steve, Joe, Jeanne and Janet.

Memorial service with military honors is 6pm Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 6507 Bardstown Road.  Visitation is after 3pm until the time of the service.
