Donald Lee Crump, 77, died Saturday, October 31, 2026.

He was born July 10, 1949, son of Edwin and Juanita Self Crump. Donald was a graduate of Fern Creek High School and a retired technician for AT&T.

In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his son, Travis Crump; and brother, Lance Crump.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Rose Downs Crump; daughter-in-law, Faith Crump; grandchildren, Elise and Langdon Crump; and siblings, Sandra Crump, John (Lynn) Crump, Beverly (Steve) Thompson, Belinda (Wayne) Lyons and Greg (Anna) Crump as well as many beloved friends, nieces and nephews.

Don loved his family and friends. He was an avid supporter of UK athletics, and loved playing, coaching and watching sports with his wife, son and friends, usually while having a sweet treat.

His funeral is 11am Friday, November 6, 2026 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation is 2-6pm Thursday, November 5, 2026.
