Diane Jo Burnette, 72, died Sunday, August 20, 2023.

She was born August 21, 1950, daughter of Atwood and Dorothy Curry Brown.

Diane spent her career in customer service, with positions at Highland Memory Gardens, Dillards, Gross Diamond Center and Bank of St. Helen.  She was a ballet teacher and loved dancing and spending time at the beach.  She was also active in animal rescue and supported ASPCA.

In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Redmond.

She is survived by her son, Christopher Burnette (Mystic); companion, Dennis Arnold; brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Theresia Brown; grandchildren, Logan Burnette and Tyler Horn; great grandchildren, Meredith and Myles Horn; and pet dog, Sasha.

Memorial visitation is 12-3pm Saturday, August 26, 203 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.
