Diana Marie Friedley, 71, of Melbourne, FL, formerly of Louisville, KY died Friday, September 29, 2023.

She was born August 24, 1952, daughter of Donald and Mary Margaret Bott Ware.

Diana worked as a technician in medical records.  She was a graduate of Seneca High School and a former member of Louisville Ski Club and Summit Heights Methodist Church.  Diana enjoyed playing the slots at a casino and was passionate about animals, especially her dogs.  She owned and fostered many dogs throughout the years, many with specials needs.

In addition to her parents, Diana was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Ware; and brother-in-law, Vince Heim.

She is survived by her husband, Stewart Friedley; children, Doug Davison (Jennifer) and Dawn Lichtefeld; grandchildren, Kristen Young, Hannah Lichtefeld, Adysin Lichtefeld, Derrick Davison and Karina Davison; great grandchildren, Harlynn and Eowyn Young; brothers, Pat (Janice) and Mike Ware; and sisters, Linda Heim, Peggy Leslie and Lois Doyle (Mickey).

Memorial visitation is 2-6pm Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.
