David Anthony Riggle, 60, of Louisville, KY passed away on Monday, May 11th, 2026 surrounded by his family after succumbing to injuries sustained in a motor scooter accident three days prior. 

He was born on April 21, 1966 to Michael (Mickey) and Donna Riggle, 

David was a man of great and passionate faith in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and although he is deeply missed, his loved ones are grateful to know he is now with Jesus in Heaven, healed and whole.

David was a long time member of Southeast Christian Church. He was a hard worker in every area of life, including as a pipefitter (and former member of Local 502), a business owner, and more importantly as a loving husband and father. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Emlyn; daughter, Michala McGaha (Josh); and sons, Dawson and Evan; siblings, Annette Butler (Steve), Kyle Riggle (Jill), and Jill Marshall (Jason); and siblings-in-law, Connie Lewis, Jimmy and D’Anna Switzer, and Lisa Poole. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mickey and Donna Riggle; brother, Steve Riggle; and parents-in-law, Ken and Elizabeth Poole. Visitation will be held at the Blankenbaker Campus of Southeast Christian Church in The Block building (920 Blankenbaker Pkwy, Louisville, KY) on Sunday, May 17th, 2026 from 3pm-8pm and on Monday, May 18th, 2026 at Chapel In The Woods (1407 Moser Rd) from 12-3pm with a funeral service to follow at 3pm.
