David Leslie Quinker, 71, died peacefully on July 4, 2023.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, Leslie J. (Gus) Quinker and Mary Jane (Potts) Quinker; his wife, Robin Quinker; and 2 baby brothers, Paul and Keith Quinker.

He is survived by his daughter Megan Montgomery of Dallas, Texas; a sister, Kit Hull (Richard) of Richmond, Virginia; a brother, Thomas Quinker of Louisville, Kentucky; and several aunts, cousins and friends who knew and loved him.

He attended St. Xavier High School and earned a business degree at the University of Louisville. He also served in the United States Army as a SP4 and was honorably discharged. He enjoyed bowling, golf, playing cards and was an avid fan of the University of Louisville Cardinals Basketball team. His off beat sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him.

There will be a memorial visitation on Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 12-3 pm at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY, 40291.

In honor of his wishes his remains will be interred at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, 2501 N. Dixie Blvd., Radcliff, KY, 40160.
