David Eugene Knapp, 62, died Friday, June 2, 2023.

He worked as a Resource Management Analyst in Public Health Education and Workforce Development for the State of Kentucky.  In addition, David was an event and portrait photographer and owner of David E. Knapp Photography.  He was a member of Southeast Christian Church.

David is survived by his wife, Lisa Lear Knapp; sons, Corey Knapp (Louise) and Aaron Knapp (Jill); grandchildren, Kaylee Knapp and another blessing due in October; Parents, Richard & Gretchen Knapp; sister, Amy Knapp; nephew, Matthew Knapp; and mother-in-law, Glenda Lear.

His funeral is 2pm Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.  Visitation is after 11am until the time of the service.
