Corey Antonio Smith, 32, died Sunday, May 21, 2023 due to injuries from a motorcycle accident.

He was assistant manager of Sherwin-Williams in LaGrange, KY, a graduate of Scott County High School and attended Eastern Kentucky University.  He liked to play basketball, be active outside, play video games and travel. He also volunteered monthly at the Franciscan Kitchen contributing to a cause that was close to his heart, helping others.

Corey is survived by his wife of eight months, Heather Smith; mother, Gwendolyn Smith (Frederick Clay); brothers, Jamar and Leroy Smith; and parents-in-law, Graham and Cheryl Carlson.

His funeral is 2pm Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.  Visitation is after 12pm until the time of the service.
