Clyde Wallace Harris, 91, died Thursday, July  14, 2022.

He was born March 8, 1931 in Middlesboro, Kentucky, son of Arthur Clarence and Emma Southern Harris.

Clyde was retired owner and operator of A&W Root Beer in Shively and former Kern's Bakery area manager.  He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and Deacon Emeritus at Hunsinger Lane Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Clyde was preceded in death by his son, Steve Harris; and siblings, Shivey Harris, T.J. Harris and Christine Smith.

He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Thelma Muncy Harris; and daughter, Sheila Crosier (Bill).

His funeral is 1pm Monday, July 18, 2022 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.  Visitation is after 11am that morning until the time of the service.
