Christopher John Buckman, 56, died Wednesday, July 31, 2024.

He was a maintenance contractor for a cable phone company, 1985 graduate of St. Xavier High School, Navy veteran, and lifetime member of the VFW.

Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Sheila Hutchinson Buckman and is survived by his father, David Buckman; brothers, Brian, Steven and Tim Buckman; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial visitation is 1-4pm Sunday, August 4, 2024 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, concluding with military honors.  His ashes will be interred at a later date in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, Kentucky.
