Chris A. Ostby, III, 82, of Louisville died Sunday, June 16, 2024.

He was born August 16, 1941 in Mishawauka, Indiana, son of Chris A., Jr. and Alice Knopf Ostby.

Chris was an engineer and retired from General Electric.  He was a member of Southeast Christian Church and Kyana Car Club.

In addition to his parents, Chris was preceded in death by his brothers, David Ostby, Richard Ostby

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Leland Ostby; son, Chris A. Ostby, IV (Kari); and sisters-in-law, Gayle Kramer Ostby, Linda Ostby, and Betty Oyler.

His funeral is 1pm Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Huntingburg (IN) Methodist Church, 416 N. Main St., Huntingburg, IN with burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Huntingburg, IN.  Visitation is 4-7pm Friday, June 21, 2024 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY and after 11am Saturday until the time of the service at the church.
