Carolyn Geraldine Simpson, 86, died Tuesday, August 25, 2026.

She was born June 30, 1940 in Green County, Kentucky, daughter of Coleman Roscoe and Vanda Lloyd Simpson. Carolyn was a retired elementary school teacher and she was a member of KEA and Daughters of the American Revolution. Carolyn was a faithful member of Fern Creek Baptist Church. She served in many capacities including Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Stewardship Chairperson, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Church Clerk, etc. She was an excellent Bible teacher and a prayer warrior, praying for family, friends, church family, and for the salvation of souls.

She is survived by a niece and nephews and their families.

Her funeral is 12pm Thursday, August 27, 2026 at Fern Creek Baptist Church, 5920 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky.  Visitation is after 10am until the time of the service.  Burial is at 10am Friday, August 28, 2026 in Campbellsville Memorial Park, Campbellsville, Kentucky.
