Carol Diane Jackson, 78, Jeffersontown, KY. passed away on April 22, 2025 in Louisville, KY.

Carol was born on January 20, 1947 in Jefferson County, KY.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William G. Potts and Ruby Lee Potts (Paris). She is survived by her brothers, Billy Potts (Betty), and Gary Potts (Margaret).

Carol was a presbyterian and a member of Hopewell Presbyterian Church. She graduated from Fern Creek High School, 1965. Carol retired from J-Town Preschool after over 25 years, and was known as "Ms. Carol".

Her most cherished activity was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a kind and loving person who left an incredible mark on those she met.

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Marlin Jackson, her children, Del Jenkins (Kimberly) and Shannon Webb. Carol had two grandchildren, Rhiannon Cole (Mitchell) and Caitlyn Webb, and three great grandchildren, her brothers, Billy Potts (Betty), and Gary Potts (Margaret).

Her visitation will be held from 3:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, April 28th, with the funeral following on Tuesday, April 29th, at 11am. Both will be held at Fern Creek Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Jeffersontown Cemetery.
