Caleb Groce, 83, died Monday, April 27, 2026.

He was born Caleb Powers Groce, Jr., on November 9, 1942 in Cumberland County, Kentucky. He was the son of Caleb P., Sr. and Virginia Logsdon Groce and the last surviving of 18 siblings.

Caleb was a retired automotive mechanic, specializing in heating and air conditioning functionality. He was a life long Baptist and served his Lord as a pastor for several years. He enjoyed gardening and spending time perfecting his lawn. He also enjoyed fishing.

He was preceded in death by stepsons, Billy and Danny Ping and Roger and Steve Sanders.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Marcum Groce; children, Linda Bush, Lisa Sexton and Caleb Groce, III; step children, Kimberly Sanders, Barbara Keen, Frances Derringer and Debbie Lively; and many grand, great, and great great grandchildren.
