Obituary

Price GuttermanSeptember 1, 2005 – June 7, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Price Gutterman on June 7, 2026, at the age of 20.

Price was known for his goofy sense of humor, kind heart, and the love he shared so freely with others. He enjoyed being surrounded by the people he loved and had a special way of making those around him smile. Whether through a joke, a laugh, or simply his presence, Price brought warmth and joy wherever he went.

A talented musician, Price played the saxophone and was a proud member of his school's chess team. He attended Wheeler Elementary School, Ramsey Middle School, and Fern Creek High School, where he formed many friendships and lasting memories.

One of the many things his family will forever cherish was his morning routine. Nearly every day, Price would wake his father and ask if he wanted a cup of coffee. The answer was usually yes—not because the coffee was needed, but because those quiet moments spent together were priceless. It was one of the many ways Price showed his love for the people closest to him.

Price deeply loved both his family and his church family. His faith, compassion, and caring nature left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

He is survived by his father, Chris Gutterman, and his mother, Amber Baird; his siblings, Lana and Spencer; his paternal grandmother, Angie Marshall, and the cherished memory of his late grandfather, Tim Marshall; his maternal grandparents, Joe Baird and Lasley Leonard; his uncles, Zack Marshall and Nathan White; his aunts, Ongel Baird and Laura Baird; his great-uncle, Albert and Aunt Sue; his great-aunt, Lisa; his great Aunt Dawnelle, his great-grandparents, Bobbie Cline and Richard Swartz; and his late great grandma Alma Baird, as well as numerous cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Price also leaves behind his beloved pets, Butters, Jinx, and Nami, who were an important part of his life.

Though his time with us was far too short, the love, laughter, and memories Price gave to those around him will live on forever. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but he will never be forgotten.

Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever missed.

His funeral services is 1pm Saturday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Rd. Visitation is after 10am Saturday until the time of the service. Private Burial is at Resthaven Memorial Park.
