Bonnie Nichols Connell, 84, died Friday, January 31, 2025.

She was born July 20, 1940, daughter of Noble and Elsie Marie Tucker Rogers.  Bonnie was a nurse and formerly worked for the old St. Anthony Hospital and Dr. Ronald Levine.  She was a graduate of Fern Creek High School and a Catholic.

In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her first husband, Hughes T. Nichols; and daughter-in-law, Jeri Bland.

She is survived by her husband, John "Jack" Connell; children, Gregory Nichols, Suzanne Campbell (Robert) and Todd Nichols (Julie); brother, Donald Rogers; step children, Sean Connell (Susan) and Stuart Connell (Lolita); sister-in-law, Joan Cave; and grandchildren, Ethan and Blake Nichols and Ethan and John Connell.

Her funeral is 10am Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with burial in Calvary Cemetery.  Visitation is 2-7pm Wednesday, February 5, 2025.
