Robert F. "Bobby" Childers, 81, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021.

He was a retired supervisor for CSX, graduate of Valley High School, member of Harvest Church of God, and a UK Fan.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Greenwell Childers; sons, Rob Childers, Chuck Childers (Patty), Donnie Hampton (Jackie); daughter, Leann Gladdish; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and sister, Sharon Holladay.

His funeral is 1:00pm Monday, July 12, 2021 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with burial in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation is 12-5pm Sunday and after 11am until the time of the service Monday.
