Billie K. Thomas, 92, died Wednesday, April 6, 2022.

He was retired from Naval Ordnance and a Coast Guard Veteran. He was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church and drove the school bus there for many years.  Billie was a dedicated UK Wildcat Fan!  GO BIG BLUE!

He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Mildred "Mickey" Sparrow.

He is survived by his step-son, Steven Bleemel (Becky); brother-in-law, Carl Sparrow, Sr. and special nephew, Carl Sparrow, Jr.; several other nieces and nephews; and cousins, including Libby Beckman.

His funeral is 2pm Monday, April 11, 2022 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.  Visitation is 12-4pm Sunday, April 10, 2022.
