William Lewis Tichenor, Jr., 73, died Saturday, October 22, 2022 at his home.

He was born December 26, 1949, in Louisville, Kentucky, son of William Lewis and Viola McCaslin Tichenor.  For over 45 years, Bill was an over-the-road truck driver for various companies.  He enjoyed riding his Harley and watching watching football and Nascar races with his wife.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his pet dogs, Allie and Mook.

He is survived by his wife, Patty Schmitt Tichenor; children, Stephanie Asher (Jeremiah) and William L. Tichenor, III; grandchildren, Ashton Werner and Brennan and Jase Asher; siblings, Donald (Becky) and Steve (Norma) Tichenor, Phyllis Moore and Valerie McMahon(Tony); and pet dogs, Buddy and Little Bit.

His funeral is 2pm Friday, October 28, 2022 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with burial in Jeffersontown Cemetery.  Visitation is after 10am Friday until the time of the service.
