Betty S Pottinger, 86, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Malcolm and Alfa Skaggs, brothers Floyd "Bill", Harold and Kenneth Skaggs; sister Geneva Skaggs Pottinger, her husband of 61 years, Ernest L. Pottinger and daughter, Debra Lynn Pottinger.

She is survived by her son, Michael Pottinger, sister, Rita Ann Malone, and family friend, Bryan Bain.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Atria Springdale for their excellent care and support of Betty during the past six years and Sycamore Heights Nursing.

Visitation is 12 p.m.– 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, with private burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.
