Barry Wayne Johnston, 71, died Tuesday, September 19, 2023.

He was born March 2, 1952, son of Roy T. and Viola Mae McPeak Johnston.  Barry was a member of Hikes Point Christian Church and enjoyed reading The Bible and other historical writings.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Larry Johnston and is survived by his brothers, Joe and Greg Johnston; sisters, Ruth Lewellen (Mike) and Janet Haysley (Bob); and other extended family.

His funeral is 2pm Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation is after 11am Wednesday until the time of the service.
