Barbara S. Thomas, passed peacefully on Saturday, May 28, 2022. She was born February 1, 1940 to wonderful parents, Paul and Flossie Bolton.

Barbara is preceded in death by her faithful husband and soulmate, Tom Thomas, and her brother James Bolton.

She is survived by her children, Ron Lile (Susie), Don Lile (Debbie), Casey Reece (Mark), and Harry Thomas; her brother, Randell Bolton (Wilma); and an abundance of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Plagued with decades of poor health, Barb's faith was abundantly evident as a vibrant member of her church family, the Church of Christ that meets on Seatonville Road.

Many thanks to the healthcare staff who provided compassionate care to Barb, allowing her to be at home with her family.

Her memorial service will be Saturday, June 4, at 3 PM, at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road.  Visitation is from 11 AM that morning until the time of the memorial service.
