Barbara Higdon Tapley, 87, died June 14, 2026.

She was born February 1, 1939 to the late Everett and Grace Higdon.

She was a member of Bloomfield Church of God. She was a very active working as a homemaker, for Seagrams, Phillip Morris, Wallpaper Galore, and Hardee's.

Also, preceding her in death was her husband, Bobby Tapley; and siblings, Ronnie and Butch Higdon.

She is survived by her daughter, Bedena Tapley.Her funeral is 6pm Thursday, June 18 at Fern Creek Funeral Home. Visitation is after 2pm until the time of the service. Private burial will be in Brookland Cemetery.
