Amy Dawn Watkins-Gaw, 60, passed away Friday, February 18th, 2022 in Louisville, KY. Amy is survived by her Daughter, Lindsay (Samuel) Brent, Grandsons, Tate and Dion Brent, Father, Paul Watkins, Nephews, Christian (Carol Anne) Jarboe, Joshua (Lindsey) Jarboe, Sam (Kylie) Jarboe, Great Nephew and Niece, Peter & Annie Jarboe. And by her Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins that Loved her as well.
Amy is preceded in death by her Sister, Angela Jarboe and her Mother, Suzanne Watkins. Her Aunt Tina Cundiff and her Paternal and Maternal Grandparents.
Amy was born in Louisville, Ky in January 1962 to Paul and Suzy Watkins and as a young girl played the harp for a few years. They later moved to Bullitt County and after High School, Amy received her Cosmetology license becoming a hairdresser and even owning her own Salon for several years. She then ventured out into different work fields such as working for Texas Roadhouse Corporate , the Ford plant, and then working in the office for Re/Max Alliance. In her most recent years, she had been helping care of her Mother.
Amy was feisty and opinionated but nothing melted her heart more than spending time with her grandsons whom she loved more than anything in the world.
A Memorial will be held Saturday, March 12th, 2022 from 1pm-6pm at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Rd.
