Allan Wayne Rowe, 75, died Friday, September 29, 2023.

He was born March 23, 1948, son of Jesse and Emma Jean Holton Rowe.

Allan was retired from Kitchen Kompact, an Army veteran and a Ninth Michigan Civil War re-enactor.  A devout Catholic, he was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church

In addition to is parents, he was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Emmalynn Baker; and sister, Phylis Tyra.

His devoted wife of 54 years, Janet McKnight Rowe, survives him,  He is also survived by loving children, Diane Castagna (Vincent), Laura Cook (John) and Scott Rowe; adored grandchildren, Tyler Castagna, Jasmine Baker (Matt), Alyssa Hooper, Claire Castagna, Abigail Castagna, Samara Weber and Justin Rowe; and siblings, Sharon Hazelrig, Rodney Rowe and Steve Rowe.

Funeral mass is 11am Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 1818 Rangeland Road, Louisville, KY.  Visitation is 12-7pm Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY and after 10am Wednesday until the time of the mass at church.  Burial is at a later date in Kentucky Veteran's Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY
