Alice Adamson Dean, 82, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2026.

She was born Alice Marie Hutchins on January 6, 1944 in Manton, Kentucky, daughter of Joseph David and Alice Theresa Simms Hutchins.

Alice was a member of St. Athanasius Catholic Church. She enjoyed being with her family, drinking wine, and trips to the casino.

In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Lewellen, and siblings, Joe Hutchins, Sidney Hutchins, and Ann Metzger.

She is survived by her children, Eddie Lewellen (Karen), Lisa Lewellen, Linda Burch (Tom), Jennifer Adamson, and Jackie Adamson Crews (Eric); daughter-in-law, Terri Lewellen; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and brother, James Hutchins (Betty).

Visitation is 2–8pm Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky.
